Academy students (忍者学校生, Akademī-sei) make up the student body of the Academy, where they are trained and prepared for life as a shinobi. They are not an actual part of the shinobi force, as they are still in the process of mastering the very basics of the ninja lifestyle. However, they can be conscripted as part of the war potential in times of emergency.

RANKING UP:
This is your beginning into the world as a shinobi, though you aren't out running missions like normal ninja, you're well on your way if you keep your head in the books! For those who wish to ascend from the academy title, they must follow the instructions below.
Academy guide to ranking:
To rank up, you need the proper amount of missions under your belt, academic studies and basic training.

  • Player needs to learn, and study admission requirements.
  • Player must learn the 6 rules of shinobi.
  • Player needs to learn hand signs, chakra and ninja tools.
  • Must learn the basics and practice the taijutsu, ninjutsu, ect.
  • Must pass the final exam to become genin.
  • Must learn clone technique, and transformation jutsu to pass.
  • Must complete three academy missions

Genin (下忍, Literally meaning: low ninja, Meaning (Viz): junior ninja) are the lowest level of ninja and also the ones that display the most difference in power. When they become genin, ninja start to do their bit for their village's economy – being sent on missions that the village gets paid for. They are typically sent either on D-rank missions, which are almost entirely risk-free jobs of manual labour, or, rarely, on C-rank missions, which are a cut above that and begin to verge on real "ninja" work that have a very low possibility of risk to the ninja involved. When Konohagakure was short-handed on upper-level ninja because of the invasion, the village had to occasionally send genin on higher-ranked missions.

RANKING UP:
You've reached your second goal in being a ninja! you are well on your path which of course is the right one! Do your best on missions and prepare for the chunin exams!
Genin guide to ranking:
To rank up, you need the proper amount of missions under your belt.

  • Player must successfully complete 8 D-RANK missions with their team.
  • Player must successfully complete 3 C-RANK missions with their team.
  • Must rank a jutsu by one level.
  • Must rank a D-rank jutsu by one level
  • Wait for the chunin exams

Chūnin (中忍, Literally meaning: Middle Ninja, Meaning (Viz): Journeyman Ninja) are ninja who are qualified to guide other ninja and lead missions. Chūnin have reached a level of maturity and ability that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess. Genin who do not have the skills to become chūnin are weeded out in the Chūnin Exams. Some of them, like Iruka Umino, Daikoku Funeno and Suzume move on to function as Academy teachers and others, like Shikamaru Nara, serve as team leaders in charge of small teams who need to make decisions and utilise the skills of the shinobi under their command to the maximum effect. Chūnin are typically sent on C-rank or B-rank missions.

[spoiler="RANKING UP"]You've reached your third goal in being a ninja! how does it feel to know you've passed the chunin exams? You've worked really hard up to now, continue to grow stronger!
Chunin guide to ranking:
To rank up, you need the proper amount of missions under your belt.

  • Must complete 2 B-RANK missions with their squad(optional, but strongly encouraged).

  • Wait for Special Jonin exams

Tokubetsu Jōnin (特別上忍, Tokubetsu Jōnin, English TV: Special Jōnin, Literally meaning: Special High Ninja, sometimes known as Tokujō for short) are ninja who, rather than all-around jōnin training, have jōnin-level ability in a specific area or skill, much like warrant officers in real-world militaries. They are elite specialists in their areas and are often assigned as subordinates to regular jōnin when their services are needed.

SPECIAL JONIN RANKING GUIDE:
To rank up, you need the proper amount of missions under your belt. [Though this is your title, you have the option of joining Anbu Black Ops Now]

  • Player must complete 9 S-RANK missions with a regular jonin. (optional but strong recommended

Jōnin (上忍, Jōnin, Literally meaning: High Ninja, Meaning (Viz): Elite Ninja) are generally highly-experienced shinobi with great individual skill who serve as military captains. They are often sent on A-rank missions, and experienced jōnin may even be sent on S-rank missions (which are considered to be the greatest difficulty). It is not unusual for jōnin to go on missions alone. Jōnin are generally able to use at least two types of elemental chakra, proficient genjutsu, and decent taijutsu skills.

JONIN RANKING GUIDE:
To rank up, you need the proper amount of missions under your belt.

  • Player must successfully complete 8 D-RANK missions with their genin squad.
  • Player must complete 3 C-RANK missions with their genin squad.

[CHARACTER]Rank Conversions

Character rank conversions are simple, there's twelve ranks in total, if you were villager at rank Chunin and wanted to become organization/rogue, the rank you'd choose is criminal. The previous rank you left off at must be in accordance with the newly converted rank. If you don't understand please ask in our questions and suggestions forum.

[EXP]Ranking up

When RPC's meet their desired rank, they need notify it in the mission HQ so the member can be given a new badge.

[MISSIONS]Ranking up

For every rank there are requirements to get to the next level/rank. Most of the conditions say you need a team, or a higher level role-player, while most of this is true, the players will be allowed to tweak this where they see fit. You are not obligated to do team work, but if you are a jonin with a genin team, you are meant to perform missions with them, the same goes for genin, and chunin squad members. For the most part, missions can be performed alone, and higher rank shinobi can take only 1-2 lower rank ninja. Despite the corners you all can cut, it is still encouraged you follow the rules for some of the conditions set in place.

  • All jonin ranks and up can participate in ss-apacolypse missions if they want. Lower ranks must be invited for these missions.
